Ashley Parry Jones has had a leading role in the land referencing industry for the past 30 years. He has led land referencing teams delivering some of the highest profile projects the industry has been challenged with, including HS2, Heathrow Expansion, Tideway Tunnel, Crossrail, Thameslink and the Channel Tunnel Rail Link (HS1) as well as Silvertown Tunnel, M4 J3-12, Manston and Luton Airports, National Grid interconnector projects, West Coast Route Modification; Nottingham Tram; Edinburgh’s and Glasgow’s Tram and Airport Rail Link schemes and many other projects.
Ashley has written and presented on the technical aspects of land referencing and is co-author of the land referencing sections of the National Infrastructure Planning Handbook 2022. He is also Vice President – Professional of the Royal Geographical Society.
