About
Leonie is currently the Head of Engagement, Land and Consents for Thames Water responsible for a portfolio of National Significant Infrastructure projects to protect the South-East from drought. These projects include a new reservoir, strategic pipelines between water distribution areas and water recycling schemes. Prior to joining Thames Leonie spent 10 years at HS2 responsible for the engagement and consultation for Phase 2 of the project. Before joining HS2 Leonie was in private consultancy working on a range of infrastructure development projects, advising on the pre application stages focusing on engagement, consultation and land. As a geographer Leonie is most interested in how major projects have the opportunity to enhance the landscape they pass through and benefit the communities affected. She is passionate about making sure those impacted by a scheme are treated with kindness and respect.
